Social Media Marketing Intern

Los Angeles

Social Style House is looking for entrepreneurial-minded individuals with an interest and passion in digital advertising to fill the role of Social Media Marketing Intern. You will be working with clients supporting efforts to improve KPIs across high-budget Facebook Ad campaigns.

The major pre-requisite to this position is experience driving traffic with Facebook and Instagram Ads, either for your own venture or for a company. You must have a passion for digital marketing and driving traffic online, and it must be clearly demonstrated through experience.

This is not just an internship this is a highly involved part-time role on our team with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position. Ideally you’d be able to work for 2-4 times per week at the LA office or remotely in LA.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop, execute, and optimize Paid Media buying strategies for Instagram and Facebook. This will involve: researching client service and product offerings, providing platform recommendations and rationale, building and refining audience targets, and ongoing monitoring and optimization of campaigns across multiple lines of business

  • Monitor social campaigns daily  

  • Manage campaign pacing and performance against benchmarks for clients 

  • Manage large budgets across lines of business and track social spending to assure we are on budget 

  • Publish content across social channels (promoted/published, organic) 

  • Contribute to a client-facing bi-weekly social newsletter 

What You’ve Got

Business & Sales Development Intern

Preferably Los Angeles, but if you’re really good, we’ll consider remote

Social Style House is looking for a Business and Sales Development Intern who will play an integral role in building the sales pipeline and growing the business. They will be responsible for pitching and selling Social Style House services to prospective and current clients by identifying and solving problems on behalf of the customer.

The major pre-requisite to this position is an interest or experience in lead generation, relationship building, tracking a pipeline, sales, and closing. You must be familiar with social media marketing, digital advertising, branding, and the ins and outs of content creation for online marketing and business, and it must be clearly demonstrated through experience.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist the CEO in developing a tracking system (CRM) for leads, prospective, and current clients.

  • Prospect, evaluate, close and on-board clients

  • Research and reach out to new brands and businesses to schedule a meeting

  • Manage client accounts and client servicing

  • Develop new processes and best practices for sales process

  • Continue to sharpen your sales acumen, stay abreast of product trends and be a digital marketing guru

Content Creation Intern

Los Angeles

Social Style House is looking for a creative content producer to develop branded content and marketing materials for Social Style House and its clients. From concept through execution, this candidate will help bring the brand to life while keeping it consistent across all various touchpoints to attract new business.

You will be responsible for creating, improving and maintaining content to be top of mind and provide valuable, digestible and relevant content in an effort to increase brand awareness. Your responsibilities will also include sharing content to raise brand awareness and monitoring web traffic and metrics to identify best practices.

The major pre-requisite to this position is a professional with demonstrable creative writing, photo & video and marketing skills.

This is not just an internship this is a highly involved part-time role on our team with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position. Ideally you’d be able to work for 2-4 times per week at the LA office or remotely in LA.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets

  • Collaborate with internal teams to plan and develop weekly social media content

  • Create and publish engaging content marketing (blogs, photos, videos and various types of media)

  • Edit, proofread and improve posts

  • Optimize content according to SEO

  • Use content management systems to analyze website traffic and users engagement metrics

  • Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic

  • Create, customize and execute our digital graphic strategy for each social media channel

  • Help bring new ideas for design and content creation to the team using your expertise and eye for great design.

  • Stay up-to-date with developments and generate new ideas to draw audience’s attention

  • Repurpose content for different mediums including social media and video

  • Become an advocate for the company in social media spaces and all digital spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate.

What You Got:

  • Proven work experience involved with content management and/or creation

  • Hands on experience with MS Office, WordPress, Squarespace, Canva, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Vimeo, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe, Pinterest

  • Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics

  • Excellent writing skills in English

  • Good organizational and time-management skills

  • Creative minded with an ability to conceive interesting ideas for new content

  • Proficient in content marketing: theory and application

  • A knack for storytelling

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

  • Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing

  • Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side, able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound
